The Cougar Fun Run was first reorganized as a senior project during the spring of 2006. It continued as a senior project until EOST took over the race management a couple of years ago for the football program (Zita Project) and then the track program.

New for 2013 - We are changing the courses in that the 5K & 10K are both out and back, with the start & finish located at the school. Because of this, we are now also able to offer a 1 mile race.

10:00 AM 10K start
10:15 AM 5K & 1 mile start

COST

Rgistration is open until March 22 - $20.00 on-line and mail-in for the 5K and 10K.
1 mile fee is $10.00. Student price for all races is $10.00.
On race day, registration increases by $5.00 for all races.

T-shirts are $10 and are produced locally. In order for you to ensure getting your t-shirt on race day, I must receive your registration by Sunday, March 17.

Online registration ends promptly at 8:00 PM on Friday, March 22.

How to wear your bib

The timing chip is located on the back of the race bib #. Please do not remove this chip from your bib. Your bib # should always be worn on your chest. Here is a document explaining how to wear your bib.

CLASSES

Male/Female age groups: under 13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up

AWARDS

Awards will be presented at the completion of both races. If you are not present at the awards presentation, your award will be mailed to you.

5K, 10K runs: Special Cougar trophies to overall winners and top Masters, medals to top finishers in each age group, ribbons for 2nd-5th in each age group.

5K, 10K walks: Medals for 1st place and ribbons to 2nd-5th in each age group.
