The 5th annual “Highway to Well - Back In Track” run, sponsored by the Umatilla County Wellness Committee, is on August 24. This event caters to the entire family, and is open to people of all ages and experience levels.

“Highway to Well” includes a 2K, 5K, 10K, and a ½ marathon. All the runs will start and end in beautiful Community Park along McKay Creek.

A healthy brunch is provided at the conclusion of the runs, and is FREE to all participants.

The Umatilla County Wellness Committee’s goal is to promote wellness in all county employees, and with this event, we hope to involve our community in a fun day of exercise and healthy eating, on what we hope will be a beautiful, fall day in Eastern Oregon.

7:00 AM Start 1/2 marathon
8:00 AM Start of 5K and 10K

COST

For the 5K and 10K
Registration is now open and is $20.00 on-line and mail-in.
On race day, registration is $25.00

For the half marathon
Registration is $30.00 on-line and mail-in.
On race day, registration is $35.00

For the 2K
Registration is $10.00 on-line and mail-in.
On race day, registration is $15.00.

T-shirts are $10 and are produced locally. In order for you to ensure getting your t-shirt on race day, I must receive your registration by Sunday, August 18.

Online registration ends promptly at 8:00 PM on Friday, August 23.

How to wear your bib

The timing chip is located on the back of the race bib #. Please do not remove this chip from your bib. Your bib # should always be worn on your chest. Here is a document explaining how to wear your bib.

CLASSES

Male/Female age groups: under 13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & up

AWARDS

Plaques will be given to the overall winners and top masters in all the runs. Medals and ribbons will be given to the top 5 finishers in each age group. Walkers will also receive medals and ribbons for the top 5 in each age group.

Finisher medals will be awarded to all half marathon finishers.

COURSES

2K - The 2K is a loop of the park (both sides). Click here for a pdf version.


5K and 10K - The 5K is a flat out and back plus a loop through and outside the park. The 10K includes and out and back up Korvola Road. Click here for a pdf version.
1/2 marathon - The 1/2 marathon course follows the 10K course and continues onto Birch Creek Road before turning around. Click here for a pdf version.
