The Let'er Tri and the Let'er Du are back again in the RoundUp City. Time to change those spurs for a pair of running shoes and cycling shoes. After a one year absence, Pendleton's only triathlon and duathlon is back and figures to be bigger and better.
The Let'er Tri is a Sprint distance (750m swim, 20K bike, and 5K run. The Let'er Du will offer the same distances as the triathlon, without the swim portion. The duathlon will be in a bike-run format, not in a typical run-bike-run format.
The swim will take place in the Olympic-size pool at the Pendleton Family Aquatic Center. The bike will be an out-and-back course on Highway 37 north of Pendleton. The run will take you on an out-and-back course along the Umatilla River bikepath.
